    The Announcement

We're pleased to announce that Sky Net has made a $500,000 investment in APEX.

This is a milestone for both companies. Sky Net and APEX serve the same people — sales teams, and in particular licensed insurance agents — from two different sides of the same workflow. Sky Net supplies the leads; APEX helps agents work them responsibly.

    About Sky Net

Sky Net gives sales teams a marketplace for purchasing verified leads, with a catalog, a shopping cart, and a dashboard for managing their purchases. Buyers can filter by geography and other attributes, and choose the data quality that fits their campaign before they check out. Details are on our How It Works page.

    About APEX

APEX is a Tampa, Florida company building a compliance-first sales platform for licensed U.S. insurance agents working in ACA, Medicare, and Life. Its guiding idea is "speed with a paper trail": helping agents reach leads quickly while keeping consent, quiet hours, opt-outs, and Do-Not-Call checks on record at every step.

    Meet the Founders

APEX was co-founded by Rauf Verdiev and Oktay Khasiyev. According to the company, the idea took shape in 2024 after Hurricane Helene hit St. Petersburg, when the two built a system in 24 hours to match homeowners with contractors in real time. That project showed them how quickly outreach tools can move — and how rarely they leave a clear record behind.

They carried that lesson into insurance sales. Rauf shaped the product around what a licensed agent actually has to prove, and Oktay built the backend that enforces it.

    Why We Invested

Investing in APEX is a natural step for us as we look to grow alongside a partner whose vision and work align with our own. Both companies care about the same thing: helping sales teams do more outreach without cutting corners. A good lead is only valuable if it is worked well, and APEX is focused on exactly that part of the job.

    What's Next

We're excited about what this partnership can unlock for our customers and for APEX, and we look forward to building together. We'll share updates here on the blog as the partnership develops.
